Sofia Marrero

FIELD TECHNICIAN

Sofia is a field technician in conservation projects at AMUS since 2023, mainly for the LIFE Eurokite project. Her main tasks are: releasing red kites, monitoring and GPS tracking, detecting mortality and supporting bird tagging. She also works on the management of two vulture feeding stations, camera trapping and GPS monitoring of several raptors and bustard species. Previously, she worked as a breeding manager for lesser kestrels and rescued primate care.

Alfonso Godino Ruiz

TECHNICAL COORDINATOR

Alfonso has been working for AMUS since 2017, promoting several raptor conservation projects, including the LIFE Eurokite project which he has been deeply involved in those past years. He also coordinates other projects with vultures, harriers and bustards in several regions of Spain, as well as habitat restoration projects in the south west of the Extremadura region.
